Out of the four sections in NIMCET, Logical Reasoning is the second most important section after Mathematics as it covers 24% of the entire paper. In this last hour one needs to study smartly. The last 20 days before the exam need to be utterly devoted to revising and practising more and more questions from the different sections. General Tips For Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning

The questions in this section are likely to be based on logical situations and the passage fact. The section does not have any syllabus that is definite. So preparing for this section can be challenging for several students but the only way to crack this section is to practice regularly.

Firstly you need to get familiar with all types of numbers graph puzzles and series.
You need to start solving puzzles including sudoku and crosswords that will help you sharpen your analytical skills.
You need to attempt at least 20 questions or 4 sets every day. Each set takes around 10 to 15 minutes and you must try to solve it within 8 to 12 minutes.
Once again you should not forget to practice mock tests. Once you start practicing the mock tests you will get familiar with the question type.

PRACTICE :

While books, study material, previous papers, internet are all necessary for this section, one thing that is of utmost necessity is practice. Reasoning and Aptitude is a subject which cannot be mugged up but instead can only be understood. Also try to practice more and more puzzle-related questions. If you get one solution then all the subsequent questions of the puzzle will be solved. Every year there is a puzzle or two in the paper and they cover almost 8-10 questions and if you decode the puzzle then you can get all those questions in one shot.

ANALYSE :

Look for explanation for why a particular option is correct and the rest are incorrect. This is what reasoning is all about. If you reach at the bottom of it, you can solve any LR question.It is advisable to attempt questions on Deductions, Blood relations, Directions, Symbols and Notations and Input and Output before moving on to others as they are not so tricky and take lesser time to solve.

If students can follow these preparation tips with a smart work strategy, it will definitely benefit them within this remaining time.
